Anivo Get in touch
Software for wine producers · Europe to the United States

Make your website earn its keep.

Anivo gives a wine producer a storefront inside their own brand. Every order is fulfilled by a licensed United States retailer that already stocks the wine — and for the first time, the customer's name comes back to the person who made the bottle.

What Anivo is

Anivo is a software platform. We do not sell, ship, store, import or take title to alcohol, and we are never the merchant of record. Every alcoholic beverage sale made through an Anivo storefront is a sale by a licensed United States retailer, who is the seller of record, holds the applicable licences, collects and remits the applicable taxes, and ships the goods. Anivo's revenue is software subscription fees paid by wine producers and a per-transaction platform fee paid by retailers.

How it works

The wine never changes hands differently

Nothing about the existing supply chain moves. The producer's wine reaches the United States through their importer and distributor exactly as it does today, and sits on the shelf of a licensed retailer exactly as it does today. Anivo adds one thing: a way for a customer to buy it from the producer's own website.

The producer gets a storefront in their own brand

Built in the producer's own design, on their own domain — their photography, their words, their names for their wines. Hosted and maintained by Anivo.

The customer's address decides who can serve them

United States alcohol shipping is governed state by state. The customer enters a delivery address, and Anivo shows only what a licensed retailer can lawfully deliver to that address — by intrastate delivery, by interstate shipping where the destination state permits it, or by collection in person.

A licensed retailer makes the sale

The customer pays the retailer. The retailer is the seller and merchant of record, verifies age, applies the applicable taxes, and ships or delivers the wine. Anivo receives a per-transaction platform fee from the retailer.

The producer gets the customer

Order details and customer contact information return to the producer, so they can thank the buyer, tell them when the next vintage lands, and build a direct relationship with the people drinking their wine.

Who it is for

Two sides, one existing relationship

For wine producers

Sell through your own brand

  • A storefront in your design, on your domain
  • One price per wine — the best a licensed retailer can deliver to that customer
  • Your customers' names and emails returned to you
  • No stock to hold, no orders to pack, no licence to hold
  • No change to your importer or distributor relationships
  • No exclusivity
For licensed retailers

Demand routed to stock you already hold

  • You remain the seller and merchant of record
  • You keep your own payment processing and your own rates
  • Orders arrive in the system you already use
  • You declare which states you ship to; Anivo routes within that
  • A flat platform fee per transaction — no subscription
  • No inventory commitment beyond what you already carry
Pricing

Producers pay for the software. Retailers pay per order.

Storefront build is one-time and depends on how much of a website already exists. Everything after that is a flat monthly fee plus an annual content refresh when new vintages are released.

Prices exclude VAT where applicable. Producer fees are billed in euros; the retailer transaction fee is in US dollars, as those are US sales by US retailers. Wine sold through a storefront is priced by the retailer, not by Anivo.

Compliance

How the legal side actually works

The United States regulates alcohol through a three-tier system, and the rules differ in every state. Anivo is built around that rather than against it.

Who sells

  • Every sale is made by a licensed US retailer
  • The retailer is the merchant of record and takes the payment
  • Anivo does not hold an alcohol licence and does not need one
  • Anivo never takes possession or title of any product

Where, and to whom

  • Availability is determined by the delivery address
  • Interstate retailer shipping is offered only where the destination state permits it
  • Every storefront verifies that the visitor is of legal drinking age
  • An adult signature of 21 or over is required at delivery
